If the viewer thinks their TV is bright enough…it is. While we can look at charts, numbers, etc. how we interpret stimuli/information, etc. is subjective. Further; in the same way a director wanted those scenes to be bright…they want others to be dark. It’s easier for us to tell how black looks than discerning if a bright scene is washed out or not because unless you have the master to compare it to, you don’t know.

Hi. I loved your video review, and I've subscribed. However, I'm very curious as to which tv you'd recommend for watching tv and films with subtitles. I'm in an apartment with a semi bright room during the daytime, and the tv stays on all day on news or classic television programs, so there's often a news branding image towards the bottom, or there are black bars around the sides. That being said, I know blooming and less inky blacks can be a problem with non-oled tvs. I'm looking at three Sony models as choices - the A75L oled, or the X90L Full Array, or the X94L Mini Led. Which is the best choice overall for my needs?

I would like to tell everyone who ended up with a C2 upgraded to webos2023, and lost the ability to disable tpc/gsr, that a way to fix the problem has finally been found. There are several videos here on youtube showing how to use the service remote to be able to get back into the secret menu we had before the upgrade. You manage to re-enable the settings but when you reboot the TV you find yourself in test mode and an overlay prompting you to click "instop" to return to user mode, but doing so resets the TV again and you lose the changes applied to tpc/gsr again. Some recommend clicking the home button and then the source to return to hdmi, so doing so does not lose the settings, but having to do this at every startup is annoying. Here is the DEFINITIVE AND SAFE solution: Requirements: -1 pc to connect to TV, both connected to the same wifi/wired network. -Download from Github: ColorControl. You can do damage with this program, so only perform the steps necessary to rehabilitate the full secret menu. On the program's GitHub page it is explained how to enable the full menu by clicking "instart" in exactly the same way before the upgrade. I can confirm that it worked perfectly and I restored the old secret menu. If you have any further questions please ask.

Color temperature set to d65 white point but some time you can extent for more blossom picture but D65 is neutral and natural

120 FPS with PS5 does not allow vrr like the Xbox series X. 4K 60 with the PS5 seems to be okay, the HDR causes ghosting. 120 HZ works better on Xbox series X at 1440 p no HDR thanks 🙏

Ok im 3yrd late though i just got 4k hdr and im using xbox one s and most of the games just say hdr nit dolby vision so I'm wondering how and were dolby vision work in compatibility with games or systei

I have a LG CX, which I moved to the main lounge and purchased a Samsung S 95C for gaming in a different room, initially I was very impressed with the Samsung the QDoled did have a Wow factor and I could appreciate the brightness and the colour upgrade, however, I started to experience the dreaded loss of signal black screens, nothing I did would stop it, resetting the TV trying different leads every possible thing it would go away for awhile and then come back, people are saying it’s one connect, I managed to get a full refund and can’t decide what to do now, I’m using my CX again for gaming and to be quite honest it’s really good. It’s still impresses me more than enough really and no problems at all with loss of signal. I’m considering the G4 but I might wait a bit longer.

Hi Vincent and all him follower :) I have a question, so many streaming service (Netflix, Disney and so on), then some of this television have a Gigabit ethernet port? Otherwise all the advanced video setting are useless with a bad video source (I'm talking about 4K signal, Atmos video and audio signal) :) p.s. in term of lag and stability is better connect ethernet port instead of Wi-Fi conection.

Any idea what input lag would be at 120hz?

I was watching Force Awakens and was blown away by the presentation and HDR highlights. Went straight into this and right away could tell that it had way less HDR impact, especially in explosions and sparks. Disappointing that the movies are not consistent in their presentation.

Bright colors in HDR look quite a bit better on QDOLED TVs compared to WOLED but unless you're watching TV demo videos all the time, it's not even noticeable for 99.5% of HDR Netflix and Blu-ray content.

Motion smoothing is the worst of the worst settings to exist. I absolutely loath and despise it, and it's terrible that it comes as the default
